History/ Team
Miller Lecky Architects is a full service architectural firm, started in 1955 by William Gilfillen and Fred Wright as Wright-Gilfillen Architects. In 1987, we changed our name to Wright-Miller Architects, and we have since evolved as Miller Lecky Architects, but we are still the same staff and still design many successful projects. Steve Miller joined the firm in 1975, and Mark Lecky joined us in 1987.
Miller Lecky is an eight (8) person architectural firm committed to a common sense design philosophy resulting in functional, cost effective, energy efficient, and low maintenance projects.

Design Team
We provide all A/E design services and project management through our firm with Steve Miller as the Principal Architect and Mark Lecky as the Project Architect. Our team normally consists of Dave Mullens and John Eschennbrenner of EM Engineering Group (founded in 2007) for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Ray Blinn of Eeman & Blinn Engineers (founded in 1959 as Fling+Eeman Engineers) for our Structural Engineering.
This team would provide all design services for any project including architectural design, code research, handicapped access, and all structural, plumbing, hvac, fire protection, security, sound, networking, lighting, and electrical engineering for a complete and successful building design.
Recent Projects:
Currently under construction is the restoration of the Marion County Courthouse. The buildings exterior is being brought up to date with new windows and stone repair. Fire alarms are also being updated.
This building was originally built in 1885 and it was a privilege for Miller Lecky Architects to work on such a historical project.
